Modular Structures in the Open Architecture Systems

The paper presents mainly the possibility of introducing on process distributed and decentralized modular structures which use programmable logical automates, thereby offering all the facilities for real time control and additionally the possibility of interactive interfacing with a PC by developing an open architecture system. To this end, a modular structure in open architecture system is developed, based on the SCADA concept of control in complex automations, dedicated to the modular control system for grain mills. Economic analyses reveal that in comparison with a centralized structure the presented system with modularized and decentralized structure significantly reduces efforts with conceiving, designing and controlling the technological flux. A modern solution is thus offered for conceiving and developing of new complex automation installations and updating existing ones.
